I have been seeing Dr. Latoni for well over 15 years. Since his own medical health has gone down hill, so has his memory and his prescribing of medications has been "off" to say the least! He phoned in to my pharmacist my 9 yr old with special needs, the wrong medication, then they pharmacy called him to correct just for him to then give an ADULT dosage to my child! Stopped my pain management without a warning and said they were doing it practice wide with no warning to any of the patients-too much to do to do that. Asked for the Dr to call me and was told he refused to speak with me?! Had to have express scripts fax three times and I had to call three times to get blood pressure medication filled. No professionalism, no caring, no attention to detail. RUN from this place!!
Best family practice I have ever been to! Dr. Latoni is extremly knowledgeable in the field of medicine. If he does not know he takes the time right then to find out. And his bed side.manner is beyond professional , caring, listens & sympathetic! I so wish there were more Drs available like this one.
Horrible experience for a new patient! After scheduling for Dr. Latoni and them calling me to confirm everything and fasting for 12 hours for blood work, I got there 15 min early and ended up waiting another 1hr 10min and watched 3 people go in front of me after arriving at early for my 11am appt. I believe they just forgot and you can imagine how hungary i was at noon after not eating until the night before for blood work and a simple check up. I was having chest pain and pain in my left arm during exertion. I asked to be referred to a cardiologist. He literally laughed out loud. He stated that I was probably suffering from severe indigestion as those symptoms manifest themselves much the same way. He begrudgingly gave me a referral to a cardiologist after I explained my family history. HE said "I'll give you the referral but I think you're wasting your time." Wonderful doctor. Very attentive, spends time with patient, not in a hurry to advice unnecessary operations, suggests needed vaccines.
The nursing staff is awful, there is no communication between them, and i sensed some serious ego problems with several. In fact, i saw three different nurses, each asked me the exact same questions so i had to repeat myself over and over, and then when i finally saw Dr. Latoni i had to repeat myself yet again. I cannot fairly comment on Dr. Latoni because his nurses ruined the visit for me before i ever spoke with him.
Dr. Latoni is truly an awesome doctor and individual. Very patient, very kind, very understanding and knowledgable. We wouldn't go to any other family doctor.
