Her line of treatment for me was not helpful at all and consisted of painful cervical disk injections of an anti-inflammatory. These were expensively billed to the insurance as "surgery" and "chemotherapy". I have two insurance policies and she seemed to take advantage of that fact to her financial advantage. When I changed doctors, Dr. Hillsman and her staff have prevented me from getting my x-rays taken there and the staff tells insurance reps and other MD's who call on my behalf totally different information. They have sh... read more

Dr hillsman I thought was a fair doctor, but to find out she is the worst of the worst. She along with the whole staff has absolutely no idea what they are doing.I have been lyed to,given totally wrong infromation, and have been rushed out without anything helpful said at all. my injury to my wrist was only supposed to take 6-8 weeks to heal, but because some reason she decided to take the cast off in the second week to replace it with a splint now leaves me all most 11 weeks in a cast again. about week 8 she finally tells me it... read more

Her offices spends too much time on padding bills. She requires an X-ray for every visit. I had to see her every week for 6 weeks, each time requiring an X-ray of an already surgically repaired back 8 years previous. In one instance there was only 3 days separation in visits and I had X-rays each time. I left her practice after patients in her waiting room complained, and one very vocal patient in the treatment room complained. When he refused the xray, she refused to see him until he did.

Left me alone in an exam room in a paper robe for 45 min after telling me that my knee needed emergency care. Told I needed surgical treatment, but with second opinion was told otherwise and am doing quite well now.

Went to practice twice. First visit, did not tell me what injury could be, concerned with something not even related to what I originally came in for. Second visit, gave me a shot which she did not even tell me about, did not tell me results of xrays, and rushed me out of exam room. I learned more about the problem was from the physical therapist. Dr. and office kept calling me to schedule an appointment. I repeatedly told them that I would not be coming in for any treatment what so ever, and they continued to call. Also, Dr... read more

Dr.Hillsman tried, as doctors have in the past with no success, to treat my injury with drugs I am very sensitive to, and painful injections that didn't help at all. Therapy was another option, and though it helped a bit I could not afford the $40 copay 2-3 times a week. She promised to help me get started on an exercise routine early in my treatment, and that never materialized. My last visit she ushered me in and out in less than 5 minutes, saying she saw some improvement when there was none. I have since stopped being a p... read more

Listed in America's Top Surgeons, Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon & Forensic Examiner. Cooperative with my scheduling needs. Numerous Service awards and continuing education certificates. Single doctor practice, seems to lead to tendency to overbook appointments. Thus the falldown on punctuality.
