From our first appointment with Dr. Bosio we felt absolutely seen and heard. He always offered us every opportunity to ask questions and always made sure we understood all the information/options he presented. I had emergency surgery due to perforated colon; which resulted in a colostomy for a period of six months. Dr. Basio did the reversal surgery, exhibiting not only the highest degree of professionalism, but patience and understanding for the many questions I had about the procedure and recovery. I can't say enough about the kind and compassionate nature of my experience with Dr. Basio during a truly traumatic time period of my life. I would unequivocally recommend him for any surgical procedure you might need.
After my colon cancer diagnosis, I was referred to Dr. Bosio. He and his staff acted quickly, competently, and compassionately to help us through the crisis. Despite his busy schedule, he did my surgery within 2 weeks of my diagnosis! I had my right part of colon removed. Dr. Bosio is exceptional Doctor. He explains everything in detail. I had very little pain after surgery. On pain meds only day of surgery. Up walking the next day. Home in four days total. Very happy with results. I would recommend him if you need surgery.

Dr. Bosio recently discovered my cancer after I was misdiagnosed by my gastroenterologist as having a fissure. I went months with pain, rectal bleeding, and constipation before I finally found the healing amazingness of Dr Bosio. I had an abscess that did respond to antibiotics or draining for about 6 months. This was a result of acute Diverticulitis, I'm in my late 30's. After surgery I found out the abscess created a fistula. My biggest concern was avoiding a temporary colostomy. Dr. Bosio was meticulous in preparation, understood how I preferred to communicate, and never made me feel like a question I had wasn't relevant. He's a gifted communicator.
