After my first colonoscopy (age 51), I was informed I had cancer. When talking with Dr. Bosio I asked if it'd been different had I come in at age 50, to which he replied 'not really'. I then asked if I came in at age 45, he told me it would've been a polyp and taken care of with the colonoscopy. Dr. Bosio's direct with his answers, but not in a mean way. When talking to him he'll make you feel more like a friend as opposed to a patient. Every time we met he came in with a smile and a hand shake offered, I never felt forgotte... read more
I had a colonoscopy in February and they found a large flat polyp in my colon that could not be removed. It was precancerous and had to be removed. Which meant I would have to have part of my colon removed. I was sent to see Dr Bosio. He explained everything about the procedure, what to expect after surgery, risks, and complications. He and his staff are great. They go above and beyond in your care. I have been truly blessed that everything went smoothly with my surgery and recovery. I am thankful for the preventive colonosc... read more
I had a colonoscope in March 2024 and a mass was found. Dr. Bosio and his team made sure I was educated on the diagnoses, the plan for treatment and the aftercare. I would definitely recommend this office of educated professionals if you ever the need them.
I was diagnosed with colon cancer in February (2024), and was referred to Dr. Bosio. I was extremely stressed and nervous about my prognosis. After my first meeting with him, I left his office feeling MUCH better. He spent a lot of time answering questions and explaining treatment. He assured me I was going to be fine. A few weeks later I had surgery to remove part of my colon and lymph nodes. Surgery was quick, and I’ve had a very easy recovery thanks to his skill and experience. I’m happy to report I’m cancer free, and my ... read more
Dr Bosio is the best of the best. Had a Colon abscess from Diverticulosis with a Diverticulitis flare up Nov 2023. Ended up with a foot of my sigmoud and 1 inch upper rectum removed. Also many adhesions removed, peritoneal lovage, left ureterolysis, decided to remove appendix-and NO Colostomy. Any other Dr I would have likely had a Colostomy. Very grateful for his and Dr Walter OB Gyn surgeon expertise, caring and excellent bedside manner. Coming from an RN since 1991. Highly recommend both Drs.
I was diagnosed with colon cancer and referred to Dr. Bosio for treatment. I never expected to have such a great experience with cancer. He did such a great job of explaining everything so that I was comfortable with every step of the process. He is continuing with my follow up care and I could be happier with the entire process.
In September 2023, I faced a diagnosis of Colon cancer, but Dr. Bosio and his team provided exceptional care that transformed my journey. During my initial visit, Dr. Bosio thoroughly reviewed my colonoscopy and CT scans, presenting comprehensive plans A, B, C, and D. In a reassuring meeting, he explained each step, alleviating fears and instilling confidence and HOPE. With partial blockage, Dr. Bosio promptly scheduled surgery for the next Saturday. The flawlessly executed procedure resulted in the successful removal of the... read more
Dr. Bosio -referral I had from another doctor when a mass was found in my colon. It was a scary time as he thought it could be cancerous. When I called Dr. Bosio's office, they were so kind to work with & I was able to get an appt pretty quick. Afraid to go to the appointment fearing a cancerous mass in my colon, I was greeted politely & with a smile. That said they care. Any of the staff I have worked with especially Rosemary have be so caring and kind. They make you feel like everything will be okay. Then I met Dr. Bosio wh... read more
Dr. Bosio performed surgery for damage caused by Crohn’s disease. When I met with him before the surgery he explained everything in detail, even drawing pictures of the damaged area and how the surgery would repair that area. He made sure all of my questions and concerns were answered in a very approachable manner. After the surgery he and his staff were available to respond to any concerns I had. I would highly recommend him.
