Professional, upto the point. No sugar coating . Gives me options and what’s best for my health.Me and my husband have been seeing him for last 5 years . Highly recommend to others.
It was bad enough that I found a new doctor... All of the bad reviews and then some. Told me I needed a mental evaluation! I am very old and have the same old people problems but, to be insulted in that manner was rude, condescending and mean spirited. Find a new doctor people this one is in it for the money or to feed his own ego.
He does seem to be in a hurry, but he has many patients to see. He's never seemed arrogant to me. Just straight forward and to the point. He's been interested in looking into issues I've had and gives direct feedback to me. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
Have seen for 2 to 3 years. Arrogant, condescending, doesn't spend enough time with you to even find out what your problem is. Don't waste your time with him. I wish I would have switched from him a long time ago, but I thought he might get better. He has no bedside manner and acts like he could care less you are there; in it for the money, I'd say. Made an appointment to see a doctor somewhere else. I advise you to do the same.
i can't give a 4.75 so i have to give a 5. he not the best ever, but he's damn good. it takes a couple visits to establish rapport. i like that he uses his computer a lot rather than relying solely on memory and experience. modern medicine changes quickly and no one can know all the new info available and he doesn't pretend he does. he is often unavailable for an immediate appointment but the PA's are a great resource if you need to be seen today. often just a phone call can fix everythin
Very pleasant. calls me after hours too about my labs. Always patient , happy with care so far .
Dr. Kankanala saved my fathers life. He was miserable going from doctor to doctor till we found this doctor . He was detailed and patient and was very comforting . Will highly recommend .
I agree with other reviews here, Dr Kankanala is very arrogant and condescending. During my second annual checkup in August, I tried to ask him about some pain in my feet and legs, he interrupted me and said that I was there for a checkup, if I had other issues I should set up a separate appointment for each issue. It made me feel like I was trying to short his billable hours. But, it was especially frustrating that he showed no interest in helping me with anything other than the checkup.
Seeing past 3 years. A communication barrier. Answers questions annoyed, short lacking info. Will argue vs check chart. I questioned qty on RX told me he was right so far taken 6 months to fix hope I get right qty & no insurance hassle this month. New RX insert defined who should not take and that was me. Gave different RX instead but I shouldn't take it either. New RX landed me in ER. My spouse comes along Dr talks down to me but respectful to spouse. Lookin for new Dr
