Dr Vanderwerf has done two surgeries on my ear after having basal cell carcinoma, cancer removed . My ear looks great and his services have been very professional. I highly recommend him!
I recently had sinus surgery with Dr Vanderwerf. He is amazing and such a kind man. His new office is state of the art and his staff is excellent.. One of the best!!
Yesterday, November 5th, 2023 I had my 2nd procedure performed by Dr. Vanderwerf. He did a fantastic job on my nasal surgery and opening of my nasal passages and a slight lift on my nose, absolutely fantastic results. The staff at the Rancho Mirage surgery center are also professional, and very attentive. I highly recommend Dr Vanderwerf and his staff, his new offices and surgery center are fantastic
I have been going to Dr, Vanderwerf for my ENT issues for many years. He has always been kind and honest w/ me. He explained my situation and what he could do to help me. He has been able to make my nasel issue much less distressing for me, which I very much appreciate. I like his ‘bed side manner’, he is easy to talk to. Highly recommend him for any ENT needs.

I experienced sudden deafness. I looked it up on the NIH website and found that this was an emergency that should be treated within 2 weeks or risk permanent hearing loss. I went to the ER where they called in the on-call ENT, Dr Vanderwerf. He didn't call them back until an hour after I left. I saw him 2 days later at his office and told him what I knew from the website. He said, "are you going to be the doctor here or are you going to let me?" I have never been treated so poorly in a doctor's office as here. It actually started with the new patient paperwork ... the front desk staff is extremely rude, and keeps saying the doctors require it. For example, the require patients to leave a credit card on file so they can make sure they get their co-payment, when simply requiring co-payment upfront would eliminate this requirement. Dr Vanderwerf carried out a complex & lengthy surgery on me including rhinoplasty, polyp removal & turbinate resection. So far I have been completely delighted with the results which have been exactly as described & discussed with him prior to the operation. My nose is finally looking straight and I can breathe freely and clearly at last... I would not have one moment’s hesitation recommending Dr Vanderwerf who I found to be an extremely capable, experienced dedicated and skilled professional.
Dr. Vanderwerf treated my wife for a thumping sound in her ears and a clogged throat. My wife is doing 100% better. Very congenial and explains things thoroughly and in layman's terminology.
