This doctor's office has recently tried to scam my mother. She went in to get vaccines, charged her for the vaccines (even though her healthcare provider DOES cover vaccines), then turned around and charged her health insurance provider for a level 4 comprehensive exam that NEVER occurred. For the last six years I have been a patient of Dr. Prasad @ Urgimed, that is until today. As of today, I will be finding a new physician. A few weeks ago I was diagnosed with a sinus infection and was given an antibiotic for 15 days. I took all the medication as prescribed. Within 2 days the infection was back. everything is always wonderful in this office, the medical assistant renae always has a smile on her face and is willing to help, Dr. Prasad is wonderful along with her entire staff, I always feel comfortable and at home in their office!!
My husband and I always have a good experience when treated by Dr. Prasad and her staff. The staff is friendly,helpful and informative.Urgi-med will help you fill out medical forms and call the pharmacy. At Christmas brunch with the family I lost the battle with an infection I had been fighting and needed some immediate care. Let me repeat that, I needed medical help on Christmas Day when nothing is open and I was really disappointed I had to leave the gathering. Dr. Shahzad, Sam and Megan were a delight and so very attentive. Do not hesitate to seek treatment here. Came in during holiday week and didn't need to wait that long. Greeted very cheerfully, they offered us bottled water, and wait area was clean and spacious. Saw nurse (?) Renee first who was very thorough and nice, and then PA came in and worked with me to determine cause of illness. Situation was complicated bc I just had surgery in November, but we came away with game plan to treat and further investigate situation. I feel like I was handled by very professional and knowledgable staff. Great find, this Urgent care center.
I felt very taken care of at UrgiMed. The staff was friendly and helpful, and helped answer my questions. The physician and physician's assistant were wonderful. I would definitely recommend this for other patients.
We had excellent care for my husband. We will continue to be patients there. The doctor is compassionate and caring and very thorough.
