Attentive, compassionate, thorough and very knowledgeable in his field. Talks in terms I can understand and seems genuinely concerned about my issues. Listens and makes appropriate responses. I have only seen Dr Politzer once but will be going back for his expert help.

My neurotologist referred me to Dr. Politzer to assess vision causes of my 24/7 sense of dizziness. He's a neuro-optometrist & can treat vision or dizziness problems for things like head injury, stroke or balance disorders. He had many different treatments to try on my dizziness/migraine. That's a LOT more than I can say about other eye doctors I saw. He was kind & understanding about my dizziness. He is a "normal" optometrist, too, but has extra training in neuro-causes of vision problems.

I have been going to Dr. Politzer off and on for over 20 years. I think Dr. Politzer is the best. I will not go to anyone else and drive up from Colorado Springs to see him. He helped my mother with her macular degeneration and made her a pair of glasses with amber prescription lens. She wouldn't wear them (she was in her mid 80's), and he took them back; no questions asked. His frames are best and Pat is wonderful at fitting & helping select frames. Rest of Staff is great also!

He is knowledgeable and our first appointment went well. After that, we had a less than stellar interaction with him and found that he did not have a very good "bedside manner". Our experience was that he seemed more involved with his own needs than ours. A letter questioning this interaction was sent to Dr. Politzer to which we received absolutely no reply. We won't be back.
