First Doctor in years that I have seen who has the listening skills to be proactive in trying to find the route cause of an unknown skin infection.
Very nice bloke, answered all my questions and worries very well. He made some small talk that made me more comfortable and stuff. Overall good appointment!
If I hadn’t known better, I might have assumed I was meeting with a pharmaceutical representative rather than a dermatologist. Dr. Frederiksen spent the majority of the brief consultation delivering what felt like a rehearsed pitch on Isotretinoin (Acutane), covering its effects and side effects, but offering little to no engagement with my individual medical history or diagnostic complexity. My experience with Dr Peter Frederiksen was far from pleasant. I expressed my concerns with Dr Peter Frederiksen and i felt as if i was brushed off and not taken seriously at all. Without any testing or any further steps i was recommended a medication which i wasn’t too keen on taking and asked if there was any other methods and was once again brushed off and not taken serious.
