Dr. Elkins has been my ophthalmologist for a decade now. I put off cataract surgery for 2 years because of the pandemic, but I needn't have. No long waiting periods
I had the worse experience with this DR is only out for one's money.I did not get a choice to have eye surgery that was affordable. It was $2100 and none of it was covered.I had a bad reaction to the eye drops he insisted I use for surgery prior.I let them know the problem and dr Elkins called me and thus another nightmare would begin. He let me know that he could refer me to an allergist and that would take time and the results would agree with him that I am not allergic and this would take so long I would be blind and that... read more

Fine physician and very kind and thorough. Answers all questions and takes as much time as he needs. Because of aging he voluntarily retired from surgery. Refers to other outstanding physicians in his group for that. Skill set is phenomenal and clearly up to date on all modern medical techniques. Founded and built the most outstanding group of ophthalmologists in valley. Would refer anyone to Dr. Zeegan and members of that group.
I was referred to Dr Kramer for shingles in my eye, I couldnt have asked for more.. he was very reassuring & caring. He explained all the details of the disease & dangers.. I would definitely be sure to send everyone to him!
