Surgery went great. I was scheduled quickly and had basically no pain after. The follow-up care was thorough and I love that imaging, surgery, and physical therapy are all in the same location. Very convenient.
Dr. Simic, Dr. McDaniels and Dr. Tapp were all very nice.. did a great job with workers comp pushing to get therapy and then surgery scheduled for me. It took a while, but it got approved. I had my surgery two weeks ago and will now be starting therapy. All of the staff were very nice and helpful, especially Sam Lucas at the Simi office where all my appointments were, helped me with questions, paperwork and scheduling, called me back when I left messages. I’d definitely refer this office
Dr. Simic was very informative before and after the surgery. Dr. Simic explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions. The surgery came out better than expected with minimal scaring. Extremely pleased with the outcome.
Dr. Simic has performed 2 surgeries on me over the last 4 years. He is very competent and personable. The surgery center he works at is very comfortable and accessible. I highly recommend Dr. Simic.

Dr. Simic has a very serious, professional demeanor, which is what you want when having surgery. He’s conservative with treatment & he really tries all alternatives before deciding to do surgery. I’ve had 3 surgeries performed by him and all went well and minimal scarring!
I presented with a severely torn rotator cuff. After Dr. Simic repaired it, he explained and monitored my rehabilitation beyond my expectations. By following his advice and adhering to the schedule he outlined, my healing is complete. Besides being an excellent surgeon, he is caring and he listens to his patient's concerns. He makes sure his diagnosis and treatment plan is understood and encourages dialog to ease patient concerns and fears. I would give him a ten-star rating if possible.
I have had a marvelous experience with Dr. Simic providing care for broken wrist and shoulder rotator cuff and tendons, which has taken several months for recovery. He has seen me for each appointment and went beyond being attentive to my recovery. I am 100+% satisfied with the excellence of the staff who completes Dr. Simic's work at SCOI.
