My family and I have been going to Dr. Dondlinger for almost 20 years. We love him. While I agree with the comment that he is not into, "warm fuzzies", he has always answered all of our questions, and taken as much time as necessary. He is upfront about the pros and cons of any proposed treatment. Beyond that, HE CARES! Our daughter has had some serious respiratory issues. Not the best friendly doctor. Doesn't show the concerns for the patient and is more task oriented. Have decided to switch many time, but now I only go and see him for my wellness visit or when I need prescription or referrals. As soon as I find a good doctor, I am sure switching, if I don't get lazy again. This doctor needs coaching on how to treat patient and build relations.
I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Dondlinger for my elderly mother who was experiencing back pain. After reading the reviews I questioned whether or not to keep her appointment…but I decided to take her due to the urgency of her condition. Dr. Dondlinger spent an ample amount of time talking with both of us about her situation and did not appear to be rushed. I found him to be competent, but task oriented. Worst doctor ever! He was very rude and did not seem to want to help me at all. When I asked a question about the side effects of a prescription I was taking, he answered sarcastically and was a total jerk. I would never go back to him!
Kind of a dick. Would never offer info I not asked and didnt seem to care at all. Stingy with pain meds.
I found this Dr. to be very cold and disconnected. He was only interested in writing a prescription and sending me home. Didn't ask if I had questions and when I did ask, he seemed annoyed and often responded sarcastically. I love the clinic, but don't plan on seeing this doc again.
I thought this doctor did not like me, but now I see he treats everyone poorly. I went in with a migraine headache and he acted like he didn't care not did he understand why I would come in for that reason. He gave me a shot of something and then left the building, leaving his nurse to follow up with me before I left. I would never go back to this clinic.
Total waste of time & money. I should have read the reviews here before wasting my money. He does not want to solve your problem in any way. I went with pain and inflammation all he can do is give me a pain killer. Wow why do you need MD for that
Agree with other posters. He is nice but very quick. Always seems like he has some other/better place to be. It's like pulling teeth to get anything out of him. He is always available for appointments, and now I think I know why.
