Doctor was very aloof and didn’t seem to care about my problems. Zero personality. Felt like I was pushed out the door.
Dr. Dondlinger is very direct and to the point, but always takes the time to explain things . He has a very dry sense of humor, but I love that about him. Give him a chance! He's a great doctor.
He is Very smart and knowledgable! I'd rather have a Real person behind the professional "facade" who express honestly his professional opinions as he does instead of a "nice guy" who gives you a good feeling but in a moment of truth will never make the extra effort if needed .. he may be moody at times but has a real integrity and knowledge and heart.
I first became a patient of Dr. Dondlinger in 1993. He excellently managed my medical care (which is what a good family practice physician does) during a very difficult time in my life. I came to trust him implicitly. He has always been honest with me, even if it was something he knew I would not want to hear. Dr. Dondlinger is intelligent, knowledgeable and a brilliant diagnostician. Most importantly, he always takes time to listen. Put simply….Dr. Dondlinger is the best.
Dr. Dondlinger has been our entire family's physician for at least 15 years, and I have no complaints. He's a great doctor & a nice guy. He'll go out of his way, even on weekends. to help or follow up. He's always taken the time necessary to get to the bottom of things or refer us to a specialist. He's a doctor, not an entertainer. I'd rather he not smile than be sappy.
I worked with this physician many years ago as a medical assistant. Worst experience I ever had when i charted a patient had a Leep procedure. He told me there was no such thing. He made me feel so inadequate. I ran it by another physician and he was appalled! I never respected him after that. What a shame. I'll never forget.
Condescending. Know it all. Judgmental and provided far more opinionated feedback about other medical issues that I was not consulting him on, but had to review (Rx) Felt like a lecture at times. He even corrected me on some medical vernacular that had no bearing on the consultation. There's two ways to deliver a message and I perceived him to have a know it all attitude. Maybe he's fine for some, but not my cup of tea.
Was switched to see this doctor due to a scheduling error with my normal physician. Walked in with very negative body language, basically wanted to get to the point, and appeared bothered that I saw him instead of my regular physician , advised me to take otc medication and to come back in 3 days if I was not better. Asked him some concerns and was responded to in a full sarcastic tone and made to feel like I should have known the answers. I've seen him around the clinic on other appointments appearing abrasive, I now know h... read more
My father was going to this Doctor and I have never been more disappointed with a doctor in my life. No concern for his patients and no returned phone calls. If he would have been a more proactive physician my father may not be in his current condition. Overall, poor care given, I do not recommend him.
