I am admittedly elderly. As such I have had every dental procedure known to man performed in my mouth including the dreaded gingivitis procedures performed including trimming and sewing with thick black thread on my poor gums. Am deathly afraid of the ‘dental chair’ and immediately request the ‘gas mask’ on simple cleaning procedures. Dr. Calhoun and his staff make my dreaded appointments almost enjoyable. Just had my second appointment with Dr. Calhoun. The staff is friendly. Dr. Calhoun takes the time to explain things thoroughly. At 55 yo I’m still learning how to care for my teeth and gums. This is the kind of experience and relationship I want with my dentist and the staff he surrounds himself with.
