Dr. McGonigle is the type of doctor who puts you at ease right from the beginning of your relationship. He listened, responded to questions and was proactive in solving my issues.

Dr. McGonigle performed hip replacement surgery on me last fall. His surgical expertise is only surpassed by his compassion. He truly took stellar care of me. Although I am saddened that he has left Massachusetts, I wish him all the best in his new practice.

We traveled about an hour for our appointment and we were greeted and checked in quickly when we arrived. We also were able to get all of tests done that day and seen Dr. McGonigle for a follow up the same day. We really liked his professionalism and knowledge. All the staff was friendly and very efficient.
I met with Dr. McGonigle a few weeks ago and I was very impressed with how comfortable he made me feel with “our” chosen course of treatment. Usually doctors make me feel like there is only one way to approach treatment, theirs. Dr. McGonigle had a conversation with me. Imagine that? We talked about my lifestyle and career and how that would effect my recovery. He gave me the pros and cons of different approaches. Long story short, I had surgery today and I’m very happy with how I was treated.
I had to have surgery for a torn hip labrum. From the start Dr. McGonigle always took the time to make sure I understood what was going on and also went out of his way to make sure my questions were answered and that I understood everything.. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. In my opinion, based on my surgery, he is very good at what he does. I was up and walking with crutches in a couple days and I've had minimal pain and as of yet (6ish weeks out) no issues from the surgery!
