Dr. Katz is among the most distinguished neurologists in Philadelphia. I have only had good experiences there. Dr. Katz and her staff have very thorough and involved in my treatment. I get calls reminding me of appointments and get e-mailed back when I e-mail her. I'm not sure what happened to all the people who are complaining but I'm assuming they are pissed because she didn't give them narcotics (My favorite is the idiot who wrote in all caps...haha)

Where do I begin? My husband saw Dr. Katz and she seemed somewhat knowledgeable and thorough when she examined him. However, her staff is a nightmare. They said they mailed out a prescription along with a scrip for bloodwork on November 1st. Who mails a prescription, when they can just call it in to the pharmacy? Why not just send it by carrier pigeon?!? They have our information, including the pharmacy we use. I NEVER NEVER EVER been to a more unfriendly doctors office. Or experienced a doctor so rude!! After being so annoyed with the staff. Our wait, we could have went for dinner and still had to wait. The doctor, AWFUL!!!! I asked her a question, her responds..good question. I asked her to answer the question, she told me I would have to go to med school for my answer. Dr. Katz is not only extremely knowledgeable but is also very kind and comforting. My experience in her practice has been exceptional, Dr. Katz and her staff are always caring, friendly and helpful. I trust her completely, and having seen other various Neurologists in the area, I feel as though she really knows her stuff. I recommend her to all of my friends and family. It's so good to know that there are still doctors out there who care.
At first appointment very promising, then no f/u terrible bedside manner second appt. Reception RUDE. Doctor talked about private health information in front of other patients in waiting roombecasue she takes too many oatients at once and does not have enough staff or waiting rooms. TERRIBLE
SHE'S THGE WORST!!!SHE GAVE ME THE DIAGNOSIS OF MS AND STARTED ME ON REBIF INJECTIONS 8/6/10 BEFORE I EVEN HAD MY SPINAL TAP ON 9/3/10. THEN I GOT SO WICKED SICK ON MEDICATION AND SHE NEVER RETURNED ANY OF MY OR MY HUSBANDS CALLS. WE WENT TO OFFICE REQUESTING TO SEE HER FOR A SCHEDULED APPT AND SHE WASN'T THERE. HER IGNORANT STAFF SAID WE WERE LYING BECAUSE DR.KATZ DIDN'T HAVE OFFICE HOURS THEN. SO THEN ANOTHER PATIENT CAME IN FOR HER APPT AND SAID SHE TOO HAD A SCHEDULED APPT.
