Dr. Chrastil provided excellent care! I am a senior citizen and had to have two knee replacements. Dr. Chrastil came highly recommended by my primary care physician. I was very apprehensive about surgery at my age, but Dr. Chrastil set me at ease with his comfortable bedside manner. He is highly skilled, kind and patient. I highly recommend him!
I felt like some of the people on this site: she didn't listen too much to me but just talked and talked. I hardly said a word so not sure how she diagnosed me. She was very anti-cannabis and sent me to addiction counselling. I have not only depression, but GAD and ADHD, also a ruptured disc in my back. Weed is the only thing that helps with the pain. She made me feel like I was an addict or something. My talk therapist even said that she sounds outdated.
My appointment was mixed. Pros: She had read my complicated case file prior to the appointment, and she consulted the doctor in the practice I had seen prior. She recognized all the important issues and scheduled all the right follow up tests and referrals that I needed someone to pay attention to. When you can get her to concentrate on your matters at hand, she's great. Cons: She does listen, but you have to be firm in interrupting her sidebars and focusing her on what you're saying. I had both hips replaced by Dr Ilario. His work is excellent and he gave me ample preparation before the surgery and answered my all my questions. Post surgery was also done well and I highly recommend him.
Super helpful and thorough
I wish I had read the reviews here before my appt with Dr Hananel. From the moment she stormed into the room to the time she left in a huff, I barely got a word in edgewise. Only she got to talk and her whole conversation was based on thinking that I wanted 2 annual exams in 4 months. She constantly interrupted me when I tried to explain that this was simply an office visit and I wasn't looking to have an annual. But I never got a chance to explain because she refused to listen. Absolutely terrible bedside manner. Made me cry and then her response was ' I don't get why you are crying it is not like you have cancer' I encourage you to look elsewhere for OBGYN care.
After running bone on bone in my right hip for a year, I was blessed to be assigned to Dr. Jesse Chrastil at Centennial Panorama. Dr. Jesse replaced my hip and I was walking on it the night of surgery with a walker aid. Not far but I could walk without the grinding pain I had before the surgery. I am about 60 days out from my surgery and it just gets better and better. I was able to do a short walk in the park today without any pain.
