The minute I met Dr. Mehran I knew I was in good hands. The day I met him he was wearing a Lakers Lanyard so we started talking and I actually found out that he was on the medical staff for the Lakers & Dodgers! He has to be one the kindest and most knowledgable doctors I have ever met in my life. One of my favorite things that drew me to him was the fact that he is young and understood exactly what I needed for someone my age. Dr. Mehran performed a knee reconstruction for me in June 2018. Major surgeries like this are always frightening and filled with anxiety. But he did an awesome job both pre-op and post-op. He was comforting, superbly capable and always made me feel like I was his only patient. I owe him many thanks and gratitude.
I had rotator cuff surgery on may 9, 2018. Following all my doctors advice, and this was a massive tear per Dr Mehran, at my 4th month appointment I was at a 6 month recovery level. I have people in my PT classes complaining about constant continuing issues from the same surgery and cant tell you how fortunate I am that I have had zero complications. Dr Mehran was very detailed about what the surgery was and what he was going to do from pre-op to post-op and every appointment since.
Dr. Nima Mehran performed a full ACL reconstruction surgery on me in June of 2018. He has a fantastic bedside manner, remembers details about his patients, and is very personable. He educates his patients on treatment options and recommends certain treatments and methods based on their goals. I am 3 months out from the surgery, and my ACL is rock-solid. Recovery is going better than expected. The whole experience has been far better than what I was anticipating. Highly recommend Dr Nima.
Dr. Mehran is not only very knowledgable but is very approachable as well. I didn't feel rushed (like I have with other specialists) and I felt very comfortable that I've chosen the best surgeon. He listened to my needs and made a surgery plan customized to me.

Hands down best medical experience I've had to date. Not only is he a phenomenal surgeon but he also is an amazing and caring person (with an incredible team as well). I needed very complex and comprehensive surgery to repair my knee; Dr Mehran hit a home run. Truly a gifted surgeon who also is very engaged with his patients' overall recovery after surgery. He is clearly invested and interested in his patients; He is available via email if needed and has met with me more times post surgery than I believe most surgeons would. 4 months post surgery he is still advising me regarding PT and expectations for recovery.
