I love Dr. Vora. I was poking around to get some information for a relative to become a patient of his and I was surprised to see so many negative reviews. I have had many therapists and drug docs in my life and he has hands down been the best one for me. Office staff at Oakland in GB is great - always helpful, on it, anything I've ever needed they deal with it straight away. It is a well-oiled machine there. Dr. Vora is one of the worst psychiatrist I have ever seen and I've been getting mental health treatment fir over 20 years. He doesn't listen, talks over you and he wanted to take me off all but one of my current medication. I've been pretty stable taking this regimen. He did know anything when I tried to say information about my CKD. I saw him once and will never go back. I've had bad doctors before but he takes the cake. I read these reviews before I went and I should have listened.
Dr Vora is amazing ! He really remembers everything ! And he genuinely cares
I was so nervous about coming in given the unfavorable reviews. He is compassionate, understanding and reassuring. Offers ideas and is receptive to mine. So thankful I gave it a shot!
If you want to talk to a brick wall, fill out the same form each visit, be gaslit to when and with whom to book ADHD testing, and be ramped up on SSRIs despite what you say, Dr. Vora is for you. P.S. someone let him know his macbook is a legitimate fire hazard and the battery could burst anytime.. though browsing yahoo while talking to the patient is probably something the doc can do without.
