This outpatient program is not for someone who it’s looking for intense treatment. They do very casual talk therapy. The website claims they do DBT therapy, which is more intense, but according to the director, they don’t do that.. the director of this facilities outpatient program isgoing to try to call the shots regarding what’s best for you. Don’t let her do it. She’s not in charge of your mental health. Advocate for yourself and maybe get an individual therapy. If you don’t follow her ways, she’s probably gonna ask you t... read more
i go there most every time i need help and the staff are very nice and polite. On my last visit i was well taken care of, I have to say one of the techs especially her name is Aallyah. She brought clothes for donation and gave me and many others clothes to have. The rest of the staff were very helpful as well, they truly do care.
Stay away from the outpatient program the director is not very experience and she won’t look after your well-being. She doesn’t consider what’s best for you and your family. She tries to make all the decisions and if you don’t agree, a woman she just discharge you could put you in harms way. You can’t reason with her and the rest of the staff won’t stand up to her and voice her opinions if they got word of her would be a good place to go helpful safe.
They don't care about anything but their cellphones. The nurses and techs are always on them, even while running a group. They put a woman on namenda on the street. They didn't call her family or insurance company. The have a doctor there who spent two minutes with me and misdiagnosed me. U checked myself in to another hospital and got care; ypu can't get it there.
If you want to get punched in the eye while standing in the lunch line, by another patient, go to the vines. If you want a patient named Ed to tell you he is thete to take a break from smoking pot and sleeping with hoes, while he steals your coffee, then go to the vines. The techs won't do anything. Other patients cut the lunch line, but techs just stand therexand do nothing. They release a woman with a brain injury to the street, and she didnt know where she was going. But they didn't call her insurance company, family phy... read more
No stars. The techs are on their cellphones. Ypu can punched in the eye by another patient. Ypu will put on the street if you have a brain injury. They do not care. They do not csrecabout anything but their cellphones. Your lufe has no meaning there. Patients cut the line in the cafeteria and the techs just sit their on their cellphones. Your safety does not matter there. But if you want to batter another patient, your life does. Horrible care. Horrible.
They dont care. The nurses and techs spend all their time on their cellphones as dies the social worker. The doctor speaks to you for maybe two minutes. PEMS, is a few blocks away, there is a nurse there, Brian and a tech Sylvia, they do care. They don't care at Winmoor, not at all.
I would give zero stars if I could. My experience with the staff was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Due to HIPAA/privacy laws, I cannot share specific details, but I would not recommend this location based on the care and communication I experienced.
I will say I have dealt with a lot of mental health professionals and Paisley at Anchor has been absolutely wonderful. She was my daughter's social worker and she helped us every step of the way. Even when my daughter left Anchor she was still working on her case to make sure that she got to where she needed to be next. Thank you for all you did for us! We won't ever forget it.
