Dr Usry has been my PCP for years. I have always found him to be a very compassionate, attentive, and competent physician. I started seeing him years ago when I left Dr Hinton's office due to him totally rushing through my appointments. He would overbook to the point where you would wait an hour or more past your appointment time. This is never happened with Dr Usry. I'm very happy with the level of care I receive with him. And I'm kind of hard to please.

Usry is the most rude and impatient doctor I have ever encountered in all of my years. I would not trust him to diagnose a cold. He has no business being a medical professional. DO NOT SEE USRY!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

I see nurse practitioner, when you call it goes to voicemail if you leave a message they don’t call back. The nurse practitioner does not call you with lab results even when they are very abnormal so you can’t ask any questions nurse practitioner ordered wrong lab and I had waited a week for result and found out on my own that she ordered wrong lab which was a follow up lab of a previous high level. Poor communication and follow up. Looking for new office that cares.

Business response:

My mom started seeing Dr Usery when Dr Hardgraves retired many years ago. Everything was OK for several years but this past year has changed. He took her off of her blood pressure medicine for an allergic reaction to it (she had been on it for 10+ years). The allergy didn’t go away so he took her off of another blood pressure medicine for the allergy. 3rd visit with still the same allergic reaction and I insisted she request a specialist because he doesn’t even seem to want to find out the cause. It was from resin used for c... read more

Horrible experience- required a virtual dr appt - which incurs an office visit charge to get a dr screening for a COVID test; had test and now must wait until Monday because results are only available to dr who does not share results until dr office opens Monday. Complete SCAM - should have gone to CVS or testing site.

I had my first video appointment today. They made the process simple and he took plenty of time talking with me and explaining things. Answered my questions and it went very smoothly.

while it may not always be the easiest method of getting an appointment with Dr Usry you can all most always get in to see one of the PA who are wonderful and will double check with Dr Usry if need be. Trust me when I say this man has saved my LIFE twice. Having a little trouble getting an appointment is well worth the wait. Sometimes it appears he may not be listening or ignoring you but TRUST ME when i say he is NOT. if something is serious he will be the first one to send you to the place or person that you need to go to!... read more

Difficult to get a quick appt. (under 2 or 3 weeks), slow in authorizing refills. If you need to speak to a medical assistant to get test results, etc. it takes days to get a response, if at all. I have been a patient for several years and find the patient care has slipped lately.

I saw Dr. Usry a while back, and I thought he was personable and focused on my care. For non-triage, ongoing health care, I would expect him to say things like "lose weight" because quite frankly it's difficult to provide ongoing care without the patient being fully onboard.
