I am supposed to have knee replacement surgery with dr. Gupta. I've read a lot of reviews and most of them are not good reviews. It's got me a little concerned. Most of them have very little stars. I am a little worried about having the surgery but I need the surgery.

Selected based on 5 Star ratings. First time visit. MRI results provided. Dr. Gupta read the results, didn’t explain anything but said she didn't have rotator cuff damage. We questioned a bruise on her shoulder and Dr. Gupta said the bruising was unrelated, looked at “ME” (Being a 6’1” Black Man) and insinuated that I punched My Wife! It was inappropriate for this doctor to spend less than 2 minutes with us and yet insulted my character without knowing anything about us! NOT going there again!

My father was referred to Dr. Gupta, he was scheduled for surgery when he went to the hospital for his pre admission they told him that his surgical authorization has expired, when I called the Dr. Gupta office to let them know there office manager Mona, said that she was going to cancel the surgery because it was going to take too long to get it approved again, I asked her if she can just get an extension and she said no very very rude, she said that dr. Gupta will not perform the surgery.

Dr. Gupta moves quickly during appointments and doesn't sugar coat the problem. He did an excellent job on my knee however his staff is unprofessional and rude. They become annoyed when being held accountable for scheduling and medical clears. Also, I believe they lied to Dr. Gupta about a conversation I had with them based on what he read to me from the chart. Be prepared to do battle with the office staff.

After waiting for an hour and a half to see Dr. Gupta, he spent approximately 45 seconds with me. He didn't go over my MRI or X-ray results, didn't give me any helpful advice or answer any of my questions. And when I went back to my primary doctor and got a referral for a second opinion, the doctor's office refused to schedule me with one of the other doctors, saying it was a "conflict of interest". I think they are just trying to protect this horrible doctor. Avoid him at all costs!

Back in July, I was told I had a torn meniscus and needed surgery. He's gives you a packet for YOUR doc to fill out for pre-op, and your told "WE WILL call you when we receive it to schedule surgery" . August 18, everything was done and faxed to Dr. Gupta's office. It's now August 25th and STILL NO CALL. I've got two events coming up. I called, and told Rose in scheduling. She put me on hold for 30 minutes. I'm STILL WAITING!! I was told by another nurse in my other doc's office "good luck"

Dr Gupta is very professional but personal at the same time. He knew what was wrong told me what need to be done, did it and everything is going great. He doesn't sugar coat anything so surgery was exactly what I expected. Kind of Dr you need for surgery. His receptionist are something different very rude , don't work to busy talking forgot me for 30 minutes did not even take my folder out after check in.

I saw Dr Neeraj Gupta today and I don't feel comfortable with him or the decisions he is making for my care. Dr Gupta reviewed my knee X-rays and MRI prior to meeting with me in a brief at most 20 second meeting; he did not review the MRI with me or discuss my options with regard to my knee. He simply said that he is going to recommend surgery on my knee to remove the torn meniscus and would not discuss options or provide me with any pain medication. Stay away from this doctor.
