For about 2 or 3 i years had about 3 foot surgeries 2 toes were removed from diabetes & after I have been going back to her for get my toe nails trimmed

This is my second time at Dr. Sower's office for extra hard skin trimming off my toes. I'm so sorry to hear some of the reviews with other patients who had big procedures done and was not happy with her. I will review the small procedure I went through with Dr. Sower's. Today Dr. Sower's seems less personable and lectured me about how I can better take care of my toes. I waited 30 mins, she is able to do a decent job removing hard skin off my toes with a blade and a burr stick. Her hands do not shake and are pretty steady an... read more

I came in for a bunionectomy. I had already had one done on the other foot so I knew what to expect, or so I thought. She claimed that the screws done on my first foot were barbaric and “we don’t do that here”. she tells me that staples are the way to go now and I should have less complications. On the other foot I had zero complications and zero issues healing and did not require any physical therapy after the first surgery with the other surgeon. Terrible experience!! this clinic takes advantage of military members as reoccurring patients. Repeatedly injecting Cortizone shots in my foot when they weren’t needed. She doesn’t listen to the patients concerns and seems like she’s just trying to make money off of military insurance.

i was told from a previous podiatrist NEVER have them remove your bunion THEY are genetic. First time seeing Dr. Sowers, NOT even a exam, she said OH no you have hammer toes ( you crawl with them) indeed very shocked with her put down of my precious feet and toes. and proceeded to take x-rays and she said how we need to correct my bunions SURGERY! then she said your insurance should cover once a year shoes - and to come back in a few months for a check up and she can be my foot Dr.(mind you i have no issues, I was in from a ... read more
