I recently went in for a routine colonoscopy and experienced an unexpected complication with the anesthesia. Dr. Iorio showed genuine concern—more than I even felt at the time. Later that evening, I developed symptoms of pneumonia and ended up in the Crouse ER. I want to thank PA William and the entire ER staff for their professionalism and care. Dr Iorio was on call on a weekend when I needed to speak to a GI Dr. She was so caring and kind to me and explained everything to me in a way I could understand She is a wonderful person and a very competent Dr in my opinion
Dr Iorio is an excellent physician. She really cares about her patients, and she is a very kind person too. I had my colonoscopy/ endoscopy today, and felt completely at ease doing it. I would recommend Dr Iorio to anyone who has gastrointestinal problems, or if you need to have a colonoscopy or other diagnostic test. We are lucky to have such a great doctor here in Syracuse.
