'Dr. Pham at my first visit spoke to me in an aggressive manner and in an unfriendly tone in his voice. The Dr. never once checked my joints for mobility or agility. The only check he did was a verbal question of 'from 1 to 10 how bad is your pain'. I am fully aware that there are actual physical tests like the 'Sit to Stand' test and others to determine amounts of pain and duration of pain. Staff is not very friendly, and in fact are rude, argumentative, and lazy. It is like the patient becomes invisible. They don't provide much needed forms timely, if at all. Unfortunately, Dr. Pham enables this lack of professionalism, as he would rather discharge a patient then address the staff and their behavior. The office is rundown and dirty, including the bathroom. The lobby set up is not good not even for people with walkers and wheelchairs. Today I had my first injection for a herniated disk. I was extremely scared but, everyone in this office was so kind and took such good care of me. The doctor saw that I was scared and calmed me down and told me step by step what he was going to do and how I would feel. He was spot on!. I was in acute pain when my wife called the office to get an appointment. After explaining I was in a lot of pain and without pain meds, The staff said the earliest I could see the Dr. was in five days. Meanwhile after two days of little sleep, a family member offered a couple tablets of their pain script. It gave me enough relief to make it to my appointment. Dr Pham has been my pain management dr for a number of years and I couldn’t be happier with him and his care. He’s personable and funny and caring.
Dr. Pham and his entire staff are extremely kind and patient. I was able to obtain an appointment promptly, and had minimal wait time to be seen upon arriving at the office. He listened to me, and explained possible treatment options. He also ensured that I was able to obtain my procedure that same day, and walked through each and every step with me. Dr. Pham truly cares about his patients and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking help with pain.
Dr. Pham actually drove me back to my house after an ablation procedure when my wife was running very late. In my experience Dr. Pham has does his best to help reduce the amount of pain that I am in. The staff is courteous and kind.
I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I went to Dr.Pham for 8 months in pain. He only wanted to address my back pain, recommended trigger point injections. I was given injections, received no relief. Dr. Pham implied that I was only there to get narcotics. Pain Drs. should be able to diagnosis fibromyalgia. My fibromyalgia was diagnosed by a neurologist. Dr. Sable. Dr. Pham only wanted to address back. If I would have stayed I would have received a pain pump inserted into my spine.
Dr. Pham is the most caring and loving individual. The ENTIRE staff all relate to pain and understand the physical and mental parts of pain. They do everything they can to address the pain and understand that what works for some, doesn't work for all.
