I cannot recommend Dr. Akhter highly enough. Her expertise and talent are truly unmatched. After just one visit, she was able to diagnose a 9cm ovarian cyst that no other doctor had caught. She performed a thorough exam, quickly identified the cyst, and confirmed it with imaging at second visit. Dr. Akhter is the best OBGYN I have ever had. From general care to pregnancy and the delivery of my first baby. During my first pregnancy, she was always very informative and not only made sure that I was taken care of and felt good, but made sure to include my husband at every appointment and answer any questions he had. She is very thorough in her care and makes ensures that you know that she genuinely cares about you and your well being.

At nearly 70 years old, I have had numerous surgeries, but none equaled my most recent by Dr. Naheed Akhter. From the first visit till now...just one week post surgery. Dr. Akhter is AMAZING!!! I have been going to Dr. Akhter for many years. I won't go to anyone else because she is the most compassionate, thorough, and knowledgeable Gynecologist out there. She has decades of experience in every issue imaginable, and gives you her undivided attention. Dr. Akhter also conducts a very complete yearly examination, and it is very reassuring to know that she doesn't miss a thing. Highly recommend!
