I followed up after my procedure at UABWest it’s incredible that Dr Ahmed and his teams come here. The facility is new, clean and has a great experience.
My parents have been seeing Dr Ahmed for over ten years and he has done procedures on my dad. Recently Dr Ahmed and his team started going to UABWest. This is much closer for us and when we get there parking is easier. It’s a big deal for us and we can avoid the interstate and we can avoid the Kirklin clinic parking deck.
I had a procedure called an alcohol septal ablation with Dr. Ahmed and his team at UAB. There was a muscle around my heart, and in the middle of my heart that was enlarged and not letting blood pass through causing a lot of of symptoms. And then I fainted. This was at 80 years old. Dr Ahmed did my valve surgery. yeah before I got this done I was feeling not in shape I could not feel the pulse in my neck and I had to really feel hard I was also having symptoms in my feet whether there was not a good pulse. Surprisingly I was not symptomatic as everyone expected. I was found to have a severe valve disease.
