I saw Dr. Abdelhak the first time for a weekend emergency. He spent a lot of time examining and testing my eye, was extremely kind and patient, listened to me, and was very thorough. I have nothing but respect for his expertise and have remained his patient ever since.
The Dr. was rude and disrespectful, in his language and tone of voice.Would not complete the required paperwork that his staff said he would do. Still charged medicare.Staff was unfriendly on phone the next morning, no apology given
Had a 2 hour visit with the Dr. He told me I needed cataract sergery. He charged me for the sergery and he billed medicare too. 6 months after the sergery he told me I had macular degeneration and to just go ahead and buy a pair of glasses over the counter. Today after buying 15 pairs of glasses I went to Family Vision Care and they told me I did not have macular degenration and I will be seeing another doctor that maybe can help me.
I am his patient since he moved in Kalamazoo.
Had to see Dr. Abdulhak on emergency bases as it was a weekend and my normal ophthalmologist was not available. I was in extreme eye pain. Dr. Abdulhak was both thorough and caring. I couldn't have asked for better in such a scarey situation. I would recommend him in a heart beat.
We spent 2 hours there for my son to have a follow-up appointment to check the pressure in his eyes. Most of this time was spent waiting for the doctor....so long that we think they forgot we were there. When he did come in he was brusque and impatient with my 14 year old. He was not nice at all, and acted like my son could stop his light sensitivity and watering eyes. He mumbles and speaks to you with his back turned. I was not happy when we left and we will not be returning.
I had to see Dr. Abdulhak on an emergency basis. He was outstanding! I like my current eye doctors; yet they were not available. Dr Abdulhak was prompt and explained my medical issue clearly. He solved my problem and made sure all the loose ends were tied up.
I had my first appointment in March. I liked the Dr and set a date for my cataract removal. Unfortunately, Walgreens set my appointment for my 2nd covid shot for the same day that they wouldn't change. Then I fell and fractured my spine and had to cancel again until I have surgery. Supposedly you can cancel for med reasons which I thought that was. But no I had to pay $50 and can't come back for 6 months. Sometimes things happen you have no control over but they don't seem to care and work with you
