Do NOT see this psychiatrist! I have suicidal thoughts and want very much to be referred to a hospital that does ECT procedures, while instead Dr. Qayyum wanted to meet with my Mother (I am 37!) to prepare my Mother that I am going to die, to get her to accept I will commit suicide! He did not feel like putting in the work an inpatient referral for ECT requires. He is a nut. He and the few counselors that work at his practice share confidential information with each other about you.

He could care less. I have been seeing him for many years. Too lazy to find another psychiatrist. He does not care about you. He talks to you for 5 minutes. Gives med refills and charges God only knows what to your insurance company for the 5 minutes. I can't stand him. He has no personality no bedside manner. Can't keep his staff. After my last visit the other day I am going to try and find someone new. All he cares about is money I wait almost an hour to see him every appointment

He was very professional, intuitive and understanding of the current issues that I faced. When making decisions regarding my care I felt he knew what was needed. One four part plan and a prescription with monitoring of my condition with No Pressure! Having his continued support and knowing that he is there with the click of a button is reassuring. We all struggle at times. Dr. Qayyum has given me hope that my condition although not curable can be managed. Thanks :)
