I struggled with depression for over 7 years. Very frustrated with trial of a number of medications which did not help , some made me feel worse. Was referred to Dr Qayyum for consultation. He was wonderful , took time to really review my history , medications, family history etc. Made recommendations after a very thorough evaluation. His treatment , and involvement in my care has changed my life.

Dr Qayyum and his professional staff of physician assistants and therapists helped me through a very difficult and dark period in my life. I am glad I went to this practice , and have referred people close to me to Psych Care.
Excellent resource for the community where mental health services are difficult to find. The psychiatrist and therapists are professional, receptive to patient needs. They explain various treatment options and services, and have state of the art services for difficult treatment resistant patients. One of the few practices that provides specialized TMS, spravato treatments.
I have worked at PCA for over nine and one half years and I can honestly say that it was the best move I made. Everyone is supportive of each other and there is room for advancement. Suggestions and recommendations are appreciated and in fact encouraged. It is face paced and you do have to be able to multitask but that is one of the things I enjoy the most. I have witnessed first hand the relief that patients achieved after being treated by either Dr. Qayyum, his PAs or one of the therapists.
Waited 6 months for an appointment. I week before my scheduled appt I get pushed back another month. Somewhere in between I get a phone call at 4p.m. telling me I have an appt at 2 p.m. on that same day, duh, how can I get to an appointment at 2p.m. when they're calling me at 4p.m.which coincidentally I never even had a scd appt that day. On my sched day waited an hr only to be seen by an intern. Talked to Qayyum explaining my issue was like talking to the wall, incompetent. Mike Demos I.O. Mass
Exceptional.
I have had a good experience with the practice and am comfortable with referring my colleagues and family to this practice
