Dr MJ Atkins is a terrific doctor! He takes the time to really understand (and explain) what might be happening and then explores the options for treatment with me - and we made decisions together about the path ahead. The treatment was very effective and I feel very well cared for. Thank you!
I just wanted to let you know that thanks to the cortisol treatments you gave me I had the most wonderful SUP trip on the Yukon River - we averaged 40 km. a day paddling and while the arm was tender, it never got sore or painful. I began seeing Dr. M.J. Atkins for prolotherapy due to bulging discs in my lower back. I’ve had success with prolo in the past and am glad I sought out a naturopath in Victoria to try it along my spine; he was recommended by my old ND in Kelowna. The prolotherapy was very effective in strengthening the muscle attachments along the spine and was a valuable adjunct to strength training with physiotherapy. Dr. Atkins also did a little bit of acupuncture before the prolo, which gave some pain relief as well. Things have improved... read more
Dr Atkins was extremely thorough , he checked my blood work and went through where I was trending ,explained to me why I was heading that way and how to correct it . I feel much better and my energy levels have improved . I highly recommend anyone who is looking for optimal health !!
