I began seeing Dr. M.J. Atkins for prolotherapy due to bulging discs in my lower back. I’ve had success with prolo in the past and am glad I sought out a naturopath in Victoria to try it along my spine; he was recommended by my old ND in Kelowna. The prolotherapy was very effective in strengthening the muscle attachments along the spine and was a valuable adjunct to strength training with physiotherapy. Dr Atkins was extremely thorough , he checked my blood work and went through where I was trending ,explained to me why I was heading that way and how to correct it . I feel much better and my energy levels have improved . I highly recommend anyone who is looking for optimal health !!
Can't say enough good things about Dr. Atkins or my experiences with him. Warm, welcoming and very thorough. Dr Atkins is one of the best ND in the city. I was referred to him by my coach with a chronic arm issue and he went above and beyond to help me.
