From the moment I called to make an appointment at the office of Dr. Wang, everyone in this office were very friendly, professional, efficient, and helpful. Gr. Guduru was my cataract surgeon. Our experience at Wang Vision Institute was amazing. We had done some research on other Lasik options that were 'covered' by our vision insurance. What we found is that Lasik is not really covered by vision insurance, and these companies only offer a 'discounted' rate for having insurance. I feel like is just a way for the chain Lasik companies to advertise their product because the final cost we were quoted wasn't worth traveling to the centers, which were all out of state for us. After wearing Daily contacts for twenty years I finally made the decision to have Lasik-Smile done. There was only one place I trusted enough to have the surgery performed and that was WVI. I could not be more happy with my surgery! I wanted Lasik because my astigmatism has gotten worse over the years, and Dr. Jones did an amazing job. I feel like I see the world so much better! He explained each step of the process, including realistic expectations, and I am so glad I had him as my doctor. I recently had SMILE eye surgery performed by Dr. Guduru and I am very happy with the whole experience at WVI. Dr. Guduru was very helpful in explaining what to expect during the procedure. I was able to drive and return to normal activities the next day. Since having the surgery 3 months ago, I’ve had perfect vision with no issues.
