I would never recommend any one to take their child to this " physician". She's rude and has absolutely no consideration for first time parents. My baby had an ear infection and kept insisting it was allergies. Never again!
I would never recommend a parent to bring their child to this so called doctor. She lacks compassion -- and most importanly patience with the parents.
This doctor is the worst physician I have ever come in contact with. NO manners. NO compassion. No knowledge.
I think she needs to respect and gave the pations options to have a choice to see another DR whe they cover to her
very professional, experienced and punctual doctor, she's been my children's pediatrician for more than 15 years. We never had any problem with her nor her friendly staffs.
If peds are like Paragus so can be a sweeper. All she knows is one term allergy. She prescribed medicine which peds do not give to kids under 10, and my son was behaving like zombie. She will always prescribe medicines with lot of side effects. Her staff is bunch of crooks never paying attention, always gossiping. They just know how take money out of your pocket. She rushes inspection and gets irritated or feels challanged if you ask questions. Please do not go to her, she is having monoply in north arlington, I would sugges... read more
Dr. Paragas is very knowledgable and professional and has a good bedside manner. I DO NOT like the fact that she give shots herself. The children remember and have a hard time with her the next time they see her. I do agree that she diagnoses everything as allergies but as a parent if you are not sure about the diagnosis given, you should seek a second opinion. My kids basically like her but in a nitshell what kids really like to go to the doctor. I do not like that she cut Saturday hours and if she did for a reason, she shou... read more
I brought my infant son to her several times for coughing over a period of several months. Each time she said it was allergies and gave allergy medicine, which never helped. Finally I decided to take my son to another doctor who immediately knew, before even listening to his chest, that he had croup. This doctor gave a nebulizer and instucted me to use it every 4 hours. That was the only thing that helped my son's cough.
My son was a patient of Dr. Paragas since birth and, at first, she was great. Our son was 3 weeks old when he got sick (just the sniffles) and we as new parents panicked and paged her on a holiday weekend. She called us back immediately and took the time to assure us. She saw our son the next morning to be sure he was ok. We loved her. But in the last few years, her attention and care-giving to my son has been waining. Most times she rushed through exams or kind of felt like she was distracted. Then it got worse. Our son got... read more
