As a former ballerina I developed very bad hammertoes, spending a lot of time on my toes lead to big bumps and corns. Certain shoes would be very painful to wear. Overall very positive experience. It wasn't like going to other doctor's offices. The vibe at Gotham Footcare is very friendly, familiar, and exciting. The doctors and staff really know what they are doing and you can tell they enjoy it. It will be weird not being part of that once my physical therapy sessions are over and I'm cured. I can honestly say I will miss them. It's a bitter/sweet thing.
Dr Cunha operated on my bunion. I went from having an ugly foot that I would hide in sneakers to showing it off. I know longer suffer the pain from a prominent bone sticking out of my left foot. I am back in heels! This was so life changing. My only regret is not having it done a few years back. The team at Gotham Footcare was very professional and caring. I went in with a larger than life bunion that kept coming back and haunting me. He was able permanently get rid of what felt like an extra toe with minimal scarring. I now can walk around pain free!
I am very pleased with my care at Gotham Footcare. I really liked how the staff checked my benefits prior to my visit so I knew exactly what to expect, before I came in, so there were no surprises. My bill did only come after 6 months but I didn't mind because it gave me more time to pay it off. It really shows that this facility cares about its patients more than receiving the money. As an athlete I have had many problems with my feet that range from: Plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, Morton’s Neuroma, ingrown toenails, calluses and nail fungus I have been going to Dr Cunha a Manhattan podiatrist for 5 years now in Midtown.
