My son has been with Dr. Backhaus for about 15 years now. And he has never once had an issue with her or the way she has treated him; and I mean both her bedside manner and her actual procedures. As a child, maybe 7, he had a tooth pulled, and she was so amazing, not only did he not realize he was getting novocaine shots, but also didnt even realize he lost a tooth until we got home and I showed him. :) I knew then we would be staying long term with this office. Dr. Backhaus and her staff have always been very gentle and patient with my children. They actually love visiting their dentist! The office is newly renovated and my children love the new giant lite bright in the waiting room and I really like the modern, updated office.
My daughter has been seeing Dr Backhaus since about age 2. She is 7 1/2 now. She cracked her front top tooth in half, and Dr Backhaus performed a pulpotomy, and fixed her tooth. It looked perfect and lasted for years until her baby tooth fell out! The Dr, hygienists, and assistants are great with children.
