Very attentive, seems very expert in movement disorders. I worry about her own health.
Seriously depressed that she is either retiring, or choosing not to do Botox injection treatments anymore. She has been a blessing to my life, and I just feel so sad and rejected.... just saw you last month, why did you not tell me? I sure hope this next position has been trained on your specific technique… Since the last neurologist was not able to offer me the relief that you have.
I have dystonia and have been under the care of various Neurologist for over 30 years. I have been to top Neuros, including the doctors at Vanderbilt, Emory and Mayo and have received a variety of diagnose and treatments. Dr. Brewer was one of the few specialist. to provide me with a diagnosis that took into consideration all of my symptoms, reactions, and personal thoughts on my condition. She truly listens to me, believes me and allows me to be a flawed human so that I can speak honestly.
Very knowledgeable, very thorough. Great bedside manner. Always leaves me feeling better about my prognosis.
Dr. Brewer is extremely knowledgeable. She reviews current medications and adjusts for medicines that negatively impact the patient's health. She is very invested in her patients. When putting my husband through exercises to elicit Parkinson's symptoms and determining that my husband was not showing any signs, she was very excited and pleased. The night of my husband's first visit with Dr. Brewer, she called to clarify her notes.
She is extremely knowledgeable, in treatment, medicines, and practical day to day problems in coping with your disease, and takes time to be certain you understand and all that is going on with your condition.
Does not hurry examinations. Actually sits on stool and talks to you about what you are feeling, hangs on to your words, takes copious notes about what you are saying. You will wait past your appointment time to see her, but she makes up for it when she examines you.
