Dr. Welch and I trained together at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC at the premier Army Medical Center where we routinely diagnosed and treated very difficult dermatological cases. During my five years working with her, she had excellent bedside manner and was kind and devoted to all her patients. When she encounters a difficult case, she will work diligently to solve the case and find answers for her patients. If this requires more time with a patient, she takes the extra time because she cares! If she eva... read more

My 12 yr. old son was referred to Dr. Welch by his pediatrician to examine a mole. My husband took my son & after less than 5 minutes she said that yes, maybe it should be removed & biopsied told them her office would contact a pediatric surgeon. She then said not to be mad at her if it came back negative. She then mentioned they removed things like that in case of cancer. THEN asked if it was ok to mention 'cancer' in front of my son. She then looked at his face, mentioned some dry patches & told my husband she would prescr... read more

I went for a skin check to look for cancer, as my parents had skin cancer and I had some suspicious spots. Dr Welch focused her questions and comments entirely on my physical looks and tips on younger looking skin, even after I repeatedly asked her to check my body for possible skin cancer. She DID NOT look at the backs of legs, arms, neck, or back. She did not check scalp, ears, breasts or waist. I never removed the paper gown. She stated, quote, "you look fine". I again asked (3rd time) for assurance that I had no suspicio... read more

Everything was very pleasant after reading some reviews online I was a little weary of this Doctors Office, the building it is in is very tranquil and pretty and very clean. Dr. Welch is a very nice, professional, complimentary lady. She addressed other things with my skin that I never knew. I don't like seeing nothing less than 4's for this Office. My wait time and being seen was only an hour. Less time than my dentist visit the week before. Thanks Dr. Welch for everything. Jennifer McGee

I went to Dr. Welsh last year because I had a questionable biopsy from another doctor. She did a full body skin check and determined I needed that area further biopsied as well as two other areas that have never seen the sun. I was scheduled with her for the biopsies and was called two days before and had my appointment cancelled and rescheduled. I went in for the new appointment and was told that I would only be having one place biopsied that day and would be sent to a surgeon for the other two. Why was I not I would need t... read more

This is by far the worst doctor I have ever been to in my entire life. The appointment was for my 6 year old child and after waiting an hour and a half I simply asked how much longer it would be until we were seen, Upon asking the doctor rudely told me she was a specialist and I just needed to wait. So I went back to my child's room to wait and after about 5 minutes the receptionist came in and told us we had been checked out and we needed to find a new doctor. I am honestly applaud that I ever even considered letting this w... read more

Once I went back to the exam room I had to wait over an hour for Dr. Welch to come and see me. They had already told me to get undressed, so I had to freeze while I waited on her. She spent 5mins with me. I also was interesed in one of there other services and never recieved a call back. Not very helpfull at all. Would not go back!

I have worked in healthcare for 12 years and never have I experienced the kind of treatment.Dr. Welch seemed nice enough but literally did not spend five minutes with me. She was so quick to leave that while I was in mid-sentence asking questions, she walked out the door and told me to check the handout! I did not get all my answers. The wrong prescription was called in for me, the insurance specialist was rude at the office, and the office manager refused realized this all could have been done properly on the first visit wi... read more
