She Treated me for my Gout that was after 4 other Doctors put me in and out of the hospitals. She had me n my gout squared away in about 3 weeks. Because she is an expert in gout . The other Doctors from others systems just went by what a book said about gout. Michelle on the other hand had expertise. Thinks outside the box and has worked for me for years. It's be about 22 years since I have had any gout attacks. Love her saved my life. AAAAA+++++
I'm shocked by the negative reviews here and had to post my own. It has been 20 years since Dr. Meltzer treated me, but I will never forget how helpful she was to me. I had been treated for years by a highly regarded rheumatologist for psoriatic arthritis, but I had become convinced that I was also suffering from fibromyalgia. If I could give less than one star, I would. Dr. Meltzer came highly recommended to me, so I changed my insurance just to see her. After waiting in the treatment room for close to an hour, she spent all of 15 minutes telling me that my problem was not sjogrens syndrome (as the blood work revealed) but instead it was my weight. Wasted my time and insurance. Inflammatory symptoms was told to see a rheum. Dr. M claimed my Sjogrens positive results is just an over diagnosis despite reading the pathology report. Said Penn drs. wrong. No treatment. No follow up. Was told to go to Sleep Disorders.
