Had an extremely similar experience to the review left by Louise Spergel. The first time I came in and got my exam done, Dr. Fung explain that he’d be giving me a lower prescription than what my current one was so that it would cause my eyes less strain. I thought that sounded fine because obviously he has the degree and I don’t. When I got the glasses with my new prescription, after the initial few days of adjusting that comes with getting new glasses, I found that I was still unable to see things like street signs and onco... read more

I originally went to Dr Fung to get a general eye exam because I am not young and also to get new prescriptions. At first he seemed really nice. He didn't fit the contact lenses the normal way with samples and just wrote something down. I assumed this was because he was an ophthalmologist and had more information. Turned out the prescription was wrong (and they do have samples there that they can use, so maybe he was lazy). Why one star? Because Dr. Fung does not understand that “no” is a complete sentence. I said no dilation. Gave him my reasons. But because he is more surgeon than eye doctor, he kept pushing at me to do it.. Yes as a graduate from Cornell Med School, I understood why, but also knew it would not change anything right now.finally got up to leave. After that he gave me a perfunctory eye exam. A prescription I don’t trust. And now I am going to spend $1000 going back to my eye doctor in nyc, for a real eye examine. It broke my ow... read more

Love Dr Fung! He made me feel at ease. I had to have laser surgery for the pressure behind my eye. His staff was very attentive.
