I had spinal stenosis and could not put any weight on my right hip. Dr. Reed started me out with an epidural shot which removed my pain. However, a few months later I could tell my pain was returning. My surgery was the first week of February, 2020. Three months later I'm walking 2 miles/day. From the moment I met Dr. Reed and his assistant Aaron I knew I was in very capable hands. I felt a genuine concern for my health and well-being. Everyone in the office is kind and knowledgeable. They are very accommodating and appointments are kept very close to on-time. On Feb. 10th I had an anterior cervical fusion at 5/6 and 7/8 and I woke up almost pain free. I am 2 weeks post op and I have not felt this good in years, I am so glad that I trusted Dr.Reed.
Absolutely would recommend Dr. Reed. Had major back surgery in November doing great. Best back surgeon in town.
I had 3 spine surgeries during the 20 years I lived in Southwest Florida before moving to Mexico Beach in 2018. Bestback surgeon I have ever had.
Dr. Michael W. Reed is a brilliant surgeon! He performed a laminectomy on me and did a superb job. He kept me totally informed of what would be done prior to the surgery and he did exactly what he said he was going to do. He was aided in the procedure by his surgical assistant, Aaron. Aaron is also superb. Dr. Reed doesn't just pop into the room after the surgery and leave in 2 minutes. He genuinely is concerned about how you feel and you know that after interacting with him. Doesn't deserve a star period. I was diagnosed with Cervical spondylosis/stenosis nd lumbar stenosis After I was rear end by PCBPD 09/21/18. I was informed by Dr. Reed that I'll have a anterior nd posterior procedure on my neck. Then to hear on the follow up his exact words "I gotta find something to fix" as if I'm not suffering from the accident not only is he inconsistent wit his practices he's compromise due to the party involved. Dr. Reed is a caring and talented surgeon who understands healing his patients is a process, not just an event. I was having excruciating sciatica that left me nearly immobile, and a dear friend referred me to him. It's the best advice I ever received. Two months after moving to Florida, I faced the greatest challenge of my life. Severe stenosis and luxated vertebrae in my back caused excruciating pain and crippling.
