Dr. Moore is amazingly empathetic and caring. I've been seeing him for my annual woman exams and any other concerns for several years. On my first visit, he must have spent an hour with me just getting to know me and answering my questions. I never, ever feel rushed. He really listens and cares!
My daughter went to see Dr Moore regarding lower right abdominal pain for which he told her was 'a mystery,' did an inconclusive vaginal ultrasound himself, then proceeded to tell her she might have endometriosis and prescribed her norethindrone acetate without an exact diagnosis. He said it would make her depressed for the first couple of weeks but hopefully her pain would start to feel better in 4-6 weeks. I have been seeing him for years. I have my son because of him. He is genuine and compassonate.
Very rarely do doctors care as much about pain management as this one does. What can be a very painful experience was completely alleviated through medication and local anesthetic, which makes a world of difference compared to the usual, “did you take an ibuprofen before this?” I cannot recommend him for this procedure enough. I look forward to seeing medicine advance to where Dr. Moore already is.
I have had positive and negative experiences with Dr. Moore's treatment. I have seen three other Gynecologists while seeing Dr. Moore and have had to return to him repeatedly. I encourage everyone to get several opinions when it refers to life-changing medication and surgery. Dr. Moore is a great seller at what he does. Try to see beyond that and go with your gut.
I initially saw Dr. Moore for suspected endometriosis by another gynecologist. He did an ultrasound and said I had adenomyosis due to “signs” he interpreted on the ultrasound imaging. He said endometriosis was unlikely even though my symptoms did not fit as well with adenomyosis and very closely aligned with endometriosis. I had a partial hysterectomy as I assumed the imaging he interpreted was correct and chose to have the excision of endometriosis if any was found. I did have stage 2-3 endometriosis. Highly recommended!! I was very lucky to find Dr. Michael Moore to perform my hysterectomy. He was very skilled, knowledgeable, and provided all the information we needed, not to mention his kindness. As I had some incontinency problems, he performed a midurethral sling surgery at the same time. I felt I was in good hands at all times. I highly appreciated the laparoscopic surgery. I was very impressed with Dr. Moore. I am in the middle of IVF treatment with a large institution and it was recommended that I have a hysteroscopy (HSC) performed to remove possible scar tissue in my uterus. I needed to find someone in my insurance network to help and Dr. Moore went above and beyond to help me. Not only was I am to get an earlier consult appointment than any other OBGYN-surgeon in Denver, but he also met me with compassion and knowledge. Dr. Moore was highly recommended by my IVF doctor, and he is truly an expert! He is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He explains everything in detail, and very patient with questions. Dr. Moore helped me removed a dermoid cyst on my left ovary in October 2019. I was so worried I might lost one side or part of my ovary before the surgery. A few months after the laparoscopy, I did two rounds of IVF egg retrievals and the side where Dr. Moore performed surgery actually produced more eggs. I am currently 8 weeks pregnant.... read more
