I am thrilled with my newly improved vision. All the staff from receptionist on up are very professional and helpful. I had total confidence in Dr Gilbert. He has done surgery on my Mom and handled her many stages of eye needs due to age etc. I highly recommend going to NW Vision.

So glad I was referred to Dr. Gilbert. He was excellent. He asked for previous records, completed his own testing and procedures. He answered all questions and explained my options and also his rationale for what he recommended. He has an amazing staff who went that extra mile, helped find source for more cost effective medication, and assistance with glasses and contacts. I received very personalized care. I was treated as a whole person and not just a eye problem.

I trust Dr. Gilbert for all my eye issues. He has corrected cataracts in both my eyes. I would not go anywhere else. I am thankful that he was recommended to me when I first moved to Washington state.

My experience was very poor. I would not recommend him, from my perspective my vision is poorer after the cataract surgery than before. I expressed my concerns in a letter to him, and he didn't even have the courtesy to reply. He is abrupt in how he deals with his patients, he does a quick review and is quick to leave you. He seems to want to avoid answering questions, one need to be very persistent to obtain an answer. He made false promises about my outcomes.

Dr. Gilbert and his staff are excellent. I had both cataracts removed/lens replaced within 14 days of one another and the care, service, and follow up were 5 star.

Had cataract surgery on both eyes and am extremely happy with the results as both eyes are close to 20/20 and feel like I'm seeing everything in high definition for the first time. . Dr, Gilbert is very professional and knowledgable. He even took the time to call me after office hours the night after each operation to ask how I was and if I was comfortable.. I can't thank him and his office staff enough for the great care they have given me in enhancing my vision.

Mr. Gilbert is unprofessional, rude, condescending, demeaning and has no interest in his patients are experiences. He boasts about how he can "cure" your eye problems and how a simple surgery could leave you never having cataracts or needing glasses again in only 7 minutes vs. cost / options available to you (his miracles are $3k AN EYE). He quotes statistics that change if you question them.

i w a s first very impressed with him when i was in emergancy hosp.about 8years ago over the phone as i was being seen by a g. p. i thought if i ever leave my current eye doc.in mt.vernon i will look him up,which i did 2years ago.
