He did my thyroid surgery and he did a fine job. Zero empathy or bedside manner, quick to discard you after surgery. If you're just looking for someone to do the job well, he will be fine as your surgeon. If you're looking for someone who shows warmth and care, you might want to keep looking.
Saw him for ear wax impaction with tinnitus and he tried to tell me it was TMJ. I went to another ENT who suctioned the wax out in 5 minutes. Stay away. Doesn't know what he's doing.
Dr Jakobsen has been my ENT for over 10 years. He always takes his time with his patients and provides the top level of care. I recently had to get an adult tonsillectomy at age 43. Even though i was a tough case for several reasons, Dr. Jakobsen did an excellent job and got me a great result! Additionally, I temporarily lost my hearing in a freediving accident in 2022 and Dr. Jakobsen acted FAST to get me a hearing test, on steroids, and SAVED MY HEARING!!!! Despite previous reviewers, Dr Bredenkamp does listen well to his patients. He has been my ENT for over 10 years and has treated me for a number of serious ENT diagnoses and has done surgery as well. You could not be in better hands.
Very rushed. Don't feel like my concerns or problem was covered or checked thoroughly.
Spent less than 10 minutes with us for $250 , casually dismissed our concerns and we wound up in ER 2 days later - made a rude comment about being a smoker - NOT the level of specialty care or professionalism you expect for $250 - we have no insurance and paid for this out of pocket - very disappointing- feel ripped off for sure
I have tinnitus & went to the doctor looking for help. He didn't wear his mask while examing me! I had to remove mine for exam. Pretty bad for health care professional to not care enough about my safety. The rest of the office wore ppe, but not the doctor! During covid19. Made me very uncomfortable & now i am concerned abot me & my family's health.
