Dr Battaglia repaired my shoulder back in 2016. I am 67 now and still playing golf, bowling with a 15lbs ball and averaging 185. Thanks Dr Battaglia, I may have to see you soon for my knee.
I have had several appointments and a surgery with Dr. Battaglia. He has properly diagnosed and treated several issues for me. I love his character! Quick and efficient.
Had ACL surgery with Dr. Battaglia. He projects confidence, but does not provide great explanations of what happened/what to expect and did not go through all the options with me. The surgery went well, but not very personal care and I would try a different surgeon next time.
I had severely dislocated my patella when I was out of town on a Monday. Tuesday afternoon, I was able to obtain an emergency appointment, with X-rays and a MRI. By Wednesday, Dr. Battaglia's staff was able to get me scheduled for complicated MPFL Reconstruction surgery on Thursday morning. Within 2 weeks, I was able to return to running my business. I have the utmost confidence in this man's ability.
I would absolutely recommend Dr. Battaglia. I had a double injury and he came in on his own time/without appt. to discuss my shoulder when I was with the other doctor discussing my leg. He was clear on what surgery I needed, why it was needed, what the benefits and risks were. He spent time with my husband post op explaining all that happened. His PA is also great. I have been very happy.
After unsuccessful shoulder surgery from another doctor and my right shoulder was hanging from just skin, Dr. Battaglia took the challenge and repaired my whole shoulder, including bone, muscle, tendons and ligaments. Moving around structures, he saved my shoulder. He followed my progress thru all phases of recovery and his team provided excellent care. Today, I can lift my arm above my head, handle weights up to 3# (this is not much, but tons to me), and sleep thru the night without pain med.
