Dr Axe was very good at making patients feel comfortable. He was very informative. I understood what I need to do to heal.
Dr. Axe provided options that would permit a greater range of use, improved weight bearing as well as the traditional methods for restoring use for worn shoulder joint.
Explains the alternatives, no pressure, you decide. We will see after the surgery, what my continued opinion will be.
As always, Dr. Axe took time from his busy schedule & was available to discuss possible treatments for my condition. He is an excellent physician, very patient and knowledgeable. I recommend that anyone with serious shoulder issues should make an appointment with Dr. Axe and learn how to treat your shoulder pain & range of motion or In my case both shoulders. John B
Dr. Axe was very welcoming, efficient and honest.
I had my right shoulder cleaned up and a biceps tendon repair Nov 2021. After following Dr. Axe's instructions and completing the full compliment of PT. I am now back to lifting weights and it FEELS GREAT! So GREAT I'm seriously contemplating getting my left shoulder done, because it does not feel as strong or smooth as my right. Thanks for the great work.
I don't like needles and Dr. Axe is very patient with me. I told him, he's the only Dr. I go to that gives me needles and I don't mind going to him.
DrAxe explained my problem and what it would take to get back to mobility in my shoulders. He suggested shots to ease my situation until I reach the time for replacement. He also explained the recovery and the therapy, in order to get back to full range and motion. He explained since I have good range and motion, I can resume a light banded and light weight regiment exercise routine, which I was thrilled to hear. I’m sure at Almost 66yrs age and staying in shape I will move forward with the surgery.
I have been using First State Orthopedics for many years and have always been pleased.
