Dr. Feign of course is knowledgeable but he was so kind and relatable.
Had both knees replaced by Dr Feign in 2023. Dr Feign is very personable and thorough with his treatment of his patients and explanation of the procedures. All of the staff at CSOG is very nice and professional. I had great recoveries for both knees and am forever grateful for a new lease on life. Dr Feign and staff are the best!
My mother just had total knee replacement yesterday with Dr Feign. I wasn't impressed at all. Her O2 levels immediately after surgery were low below 90 but would sometimes go above 90 if she focused on deep breathing so they sent her home with no oxygen thinking she would be fine. Later that night her O2 levels dropped to 76 and her heart rate fell to 57 (normal for her is 85). Dr Feign is the best. I saw him years ago and he gave me the ability to walk again, basically! I later was referred out to a military dr via my insurance and my husband an I fought to get released from that medical office to get back to dr Feign... thank God it worked, finally... Always professional, compassionate and honest.
He advises if you are on pain meds to determine at least two weeks before the procedure otherwise you will be screaming about the pain that the meds are not curving the pain. Other than bring a great surgeon what else is there to tell.
Dr. Feign took the time to fully explain in depth the necessary procedure to replace my right hip. He is very sympathetic and caring in his approach. I highly recommend him.
Unfortunately, I have had to see several surgeons lately, and Dr. Feign is head and shoulders above the others. I love his no nonsense approach! He’s terrific at explaining things and laying out all your options, and is patient and kind when handling questions and concerns. Further, his support staff is friendly and professional. He explains everything in detail & takes time to explain any questions you have. I never feel rushed and he makes sure you are comfortable with his suggestions and know what to expect.
