Doctor Courtney works to treat the problem not medicate it. He immediately ordered test (blood work, x-rays, sleep study) that my past pain specialist just spoke of. Before deciding on a pain plan designed for me (injections, radio freq, compounds). For the first time I had a pain management spec. That I felt comfortable with and knew he worked in my best interest. And recommended treatments that I had never heard of. Hated leaving his care (I moved out of state). Dr. Courtney is skiled, intelligent and compassionate. I appreciate his approach to pain management, integrating various treatment options and modalities as needed for each individual situation. Waiting is rare as scheduling is realistic.
The Dr has a fair bedside manor. Schedules appointments for injections, then cancels it a few days before. Extremely concerned about money, less concerned about patients. Charges $65 for a canceled appointment less then 48 hours!
Dr Courtney is a one of a kind doctor. The BEST kind, he is a doctor with heart. If not for him I still would be in such terrible pain from R S D. He tried everything he thought might help, then with looking out side the box, he found help for me.
