Sadly I don't know that people can choose their anesthesiologist, but IF you can, don't choose him! My two year old had surgery yesterday and the unprofessional careless attitude of Doctor Welch was unsettling to put it mildly. He was an HOUR late to her procedure- no apology at all. To make matters SO MUCH worse, he REFUSED to give her versed because surgery couldn't start until the medication took effect (15 minutes) and that was "too long" for him. Excuse me!?
