Being diagnosed with ovarian cancer is frightening. Dr. McDonald came highly recommended by my family doctor as well as my surgeon. Soon afterwards I met with him, he sat in a chair across from me, on a piece of paper he wrote down each step he had planned for my treatment ... explaining every step in detail. Have taken my wife there 3 times and each time is the same. He is a professional, very courteous, and understanding. I would recommend him to anyone who needs his services. He will take time to talk to you and answer your questions. And you don't have to wait forever to see him. He is more on schedule than any other professional that I have been in the Shreveport area
I will recommend Dr.McDonald very highly. His staff always conduct themselves in a very professional manner,they treat you with respect ad are very concerned about your well being.I have a great deal of respect for each and every member of his staff.The care I received during my illness was administered with love,kindness,concern and most of all a group of caring people who made my illness their top priority.
He has been a lifesaver for my sister and continues to give her hope with the treatments that he has provided her with.
Dr. McDonald is knowledgable, caring, compassionate, and relates diagnosis and treatment plans so that the patient can understand. He dies not mind answering questions.
a week ago The care Dr. McDonald gave and what he said he would do, was completely opposite. He acts like a supportive/proactive doctor, but when it comes down to it, you are just another patient. After her second chemo treatment, she became ill and had to be hospitalized at WK South, Dr. McDonald sent his on call associates, that did nothing. Myself and my sister called and pleaded with his nurse to have him give us direction and help, we received neither. My mother was in the hospital for
Dr. McDonnold is one of the absolute most caring doctors I have ever met in my entire life. He really cares for his patients. He has kind words for everyone as they struggle And this journey we call life. You won't be disappointed if you go to him he has a great personality. I've been going to him for five years and I absolutely love this man. He's a great oncologist.
