After 6.5 years of dealing with neurological issues, phantom, Afib, severe neck pain, fatigue, fevers, weakness, I was put on a picc for 6 months. It's not easy to get an appointment, but it's worth it. Dr. Deshaw was the only one to diagnose and make a precise plan for me after seeing many doctors, and going through many tests. He's well versed yet down to earth.
The best doctor I have ever found! He was the only one that figured out what was wrong with me after ten years of suffering. He is awesome.
I've never met a doctor in my experience as a patient and an RN who cares so deeply about his patients. He is very educated and keeps up with new research always thinking of what can help his patients get well. He is easy to talk to, takes his time with you and listens to every word. Yes, he may run late to his scheduled appointments but that's because he doesn't rush anyone and that makes him worth the wait for me each time. I believe he helped save my life.
I have nothing to say but positive things about Dr. Deshaw. He is an outstanding Infectious Disease specialist and takes the time to listen to me. His treatments have been effective and I am very satisfied with the level of care he provides.
Dr. DeShaw took the time to find out what I had where I was dismissed by many other Doctors. His care and compassion was something that gave me hope. It's been a long road but I am feeling like a normal person again!
